My considerations are typological in nature. A lie is a disingenuous assertion made to another person with the intent of deceiving other into believing both that true and liar believes it be true. This definition morally neutral. It requires further, moral judgment determine whether good or bad thing, whether, specified circumstances, right wrong. However, what if truth not only occasionally contaminated but lies spread en masse order make addressees question their ability judge induce collective self-deception? Beginning small-scale use lies, related variants dishonesty – especially large scale, propagandistic uses conceptually characterized evaluated. Lies can systematically distinguished via purposes.
